I was diagnosed with skin cancer in March of 2001.
I have always loved the sun and having a nice tan was very important to me. Like so many others, I never expected at such a young age to be informed that I have skin cancer, and that my time in the sun would end suddenly.
My doctor's office offered plenty of sunscreen products, but offered no sunless tanning lotion products to substitute the tan I had grown so accustomed to having. I began researching the sunless tanning industry and learned that there has been a growth of 20-25% each year since 1998, and it is projected to be an eight hundred million dollar market by the year 2005. If doctors can offer their patients the most effective alternative to the sun, just think of how many lives will be changed and even saved.
Since then, I have formed a partnership with my dermatologist, Dr.Lee Laris, and Body Bronze Products, Inc., was created.
