This cosmetic eye surgery is also known as a lid lift. The excess skin above and below the eye is surgically removed. The three pockets of fat beneath the eye are also removed. The result is a younger, brighter appearance of your eyes and your face. In extreme cases where the upper eyelid hangs down into the field of vision, peripheral vision can be improved.
When the extra skin is removed, care is taken to remove more tissue from the upper outer corners to give the greatest improvement where the wrinkling skin is most abundant. The procedure is completed here in the office with very little discomfort afterward.
